The Japanese people have been very kind and welcoming wherever we have been. The staff here at Hotel Fukinomori also especially the young man who greeted us, checked in, showed us the hotel and served us our delicious kaiseki dinner. He is exceptional. The hotel is very comfortable and has an excellent onsen.

We wanted a comfortable hotel in the mountains with a traditional feel to it.

Some of the walls need painting to just freshen them up but that is only a small suggestion everything else is very good.
