Travelers, especially those who are hiking the Nakasendo Trail need power points to charge their phones etc. The room I have has few that are not being used already for the T.V., fridge, heater and hot water. Hotel rooms need more or power boards for USD A &C

We loved all the Japanese gardens visited in Tokyo (our first stop on the holiday) Hamari kyu Gardens, Meiji Jingu inner Garden, Shinjuku Koen national garden, Ko Ishikawa kora Koen Garden and kyu Shiba onshi garden. We have really enjoyed staying in Tsumago + walking from Magome to Tsumago on the Nakasendo highway. Beautiful scenery + villages and of course the wonderful Kaiseki @ Hotel Fukinomori-A real experience + unlike anything we have had before.

We were in so many lovely places on our trip to Japan, it would be hard to say what we found best. It was all wonderful. This has been a challenging with all the train travel. Managed well apart from a couple of issues. Kiso valley is beautiful.

Your hotel is lovely, we do not use onsen so with the cup of tea, coffee, some biscuits would be helpful until mealtime. Staff were fabulous, the shuttle was great. Food best in Japan.

Harayuku style in Tokyo + Golden gai for the Ouirku Experience. Matsumoto for the views and unexpected vibe. The sheer beauty of the countryside.

Meals at this hotel were excellent-dinner and breakfast, friendly staff, try to be helpful even when they don`t understand English (I don`t speak Japanese)

Pillows for sleeping – one not enough, two was too much for me. An option to have a thinner pillow as well.

The waking trail form Magome was very well signed and enjoyable to walk. Efficient trains, restrooms and hotels. Everyone is very friendly and polite. The scenery in the countryside is beautiful especially the changing color of the trees.

We have spent 5 days in Tokyo. Today was our first experience of rural Japan. We had a beautiful walk from Nakatsugawa.
The onsen here is amazing-loved the outdoor bath
